Ang Lee’s “Lust, Caution”

Rachel and I went to the movies together yesterday for the 1st time in a very long time and we do not regret it any second. We had managed to get a couple of tickets for the presentation of "Lust, Caution" ("色,戒") Ang Lee's latest masterpiece at Vancouver International Film Festival.

We remain riveted to our seats for 2 and a half hours, fascinated by the perfection of this movie. Rarely a film has moved me so much. I'm only sorry that I do not have the words in English to express this in any eloquent manner (That'll teach me, next time I'll write in French). They are some good reviews on IMDB and I'll post a link as soon as Rachel will have published her own critic.

Don't wait any longer, buy your ticket and go wait in line under the rain, it's worth every second. Probably the best movie I have ever seen.

  1. Wow, Laurent, You know how to type Chinese now. Thank you for sharing. I think I will wait for the DVD even though I really really want to see this movie of Ang Lee’s.

  2. Yes! Of course! CTRL+C is my new “Chinese” friend! It’s really worth the price of the ticket but I guess DVD is fine. At least you’ll be able to go back and check the subtitles when they speak Shanghai-ese. HaHa!
